Annie Hall

Annie Hall is probably the most popular Woody Allen movie out there and one my favorite Woody Allen movies. Diane Keaton came to the casting dressed as she was in the movie and in the end she influenced the fashion era of the late-70's. Feminizing men's shirts, billowy trousers, blazers over vests and even the Ralph Lauren tie for men. It's the "Annie Hall look".

Annie Hall: "My granny never gave gifts. She was too busy getting raped by Cossacks"

Annie Hall: "Sometimes I ask myself how I'd stand up under torture"
Alvy Singer: "You? You kiddin'? If the Gestapo would take away your Bloomingdale's charge card, you'd tell 'em everything!"

Annie Hall: "... And then she mentioned penis envy. Do you know about that?"
Alvy Singer: "Me? I'm, I'm one of the few males who suffers from that."

Annie Hall: "It's so clean out here." (In California)
Alvy Singer: "That's because they don't throw away their garbage, they turn them into television shows"

Alvy Singer: "Hey, Harvard makes mistakes too! Kissinger taught there! "

Annie Hall:  " La-di-da, la-di-da, la la. ".
