Ne?
The way Czech politicians are, is the way Czech weather is - shifty & unpredictable. For English readers, I am not sure you are familiar with an extract from a famous book (A Romance about Charles IV.), written by a great Czech author - Jan Neruda, in our school books for Czech language. I gave a test to the people who went to a Czech grade school (above). In the school book (for 5th graders), Charles IV. tastes Czech wine (quite unlike wine from Burgundy) & spits it out, since he thinks it's gross. The nobleman Bušek encourages him to try it again, so Charles IV. does & says : " Ah yes - it is important to introspect dear Bušek! This wine has it's own character, at first bitter, but then sweet as well!". It can be or seem one way in CZ, or even behave a certain way, but it doesn't really have to be that way...
