DOWNTOWN PEACH: Letecky Den a Mig 21 / Day of Planes & Mig 21

Sice mi to trvalo trošku déle, ale už jsem tu! V sobotu byl Letecký Den v Chotusicích a minimálně 40 000 lidí. Naštěstí jsem se se svezla s kamarádem, který hraje jako bubeník v skupině Mig 21 tak jsem předešla chůzi z Čáslavi (asi 3 km) a frontu se dostat dovnitř. Poté co jsem přijela, jsem se začala procházet po letišti plno letadel, lidí a opilých českých vojáků (typický).

I know it took me a while, but I'm here! On Saturday, there was what is called "Flying Day", where all types of planes fly around the Chotusice Airbase & about 40 000 people mill around. Not only did I get a ride from a friend who had to go there to play (drummer) with his band - Mig 21, he also saved me from a 3 km walk from Čáslav & a line to get in. After I arrived I started to walk around the airbase filled with airplanes, people & drunk Czech military boys.

Letadlo Mig 21, která byla vyrobena v SSSR od roku 1959 do roku 1985, a bylo to nejdéle vyráběno nadzvukové letadlo v historii. Rusové jsou profíci v tomhle směru.

The Mig 21 fighter aircraft was produced in the USSR from 1959 until 1985 and it had the longest production run in history. The Russians are pros when it comes to this.
