Hrad Žalu ~ Castle of Sorrow

Po Žlebském zámku, moje druhé nejoblíbenější místo je zřícenina Lichnice. Líbí se mi k tomu taky pověst o princezně Miladě. Její otec umřel a musela se tehdy provdat, ale ona řekla, že si vezme pouze rytíře, který se dokáže na svém koni otočit třikrát na jednom lomu, který je asi 2 x 2 metry velký. Každý rytíř, který se o to pokoušel tak spad s koněm ke své smrti. Jednoho dne přijel rytíř na černém koni, který měl na opýtkách usazeny démanty. Třikrát se otočil a pak šípem prostřelil její srdce za to, že jeho bratr pro ní v téhle soutěži umřel. Moc pohádkově to neskončilo...

Then one day a knight came on a black horse, with diamonds in his hooves & he turned 3 x around. By the 3rd turn he pulled his bow & arrow out & shot the princess through her heart. He did it in revenge for his brother who died for her. Not much of a happy end...
