Hrad Žalu ~ Castle of Sorrow

Moc pohádkově to neskončilo...

After castle Žleby, my favorite place is Lichnice. I also like the story about the princess Milada, whos father died and she therefore had to marry. She decided she would marry the knight who could turn with his horse on a rock which was about 2 x 2 meter big. Each knight who tried to do this, plunged to his death. Then one day a knight came on a black horse, with diamonds in his hooves & he turned 3 x around. By the 3rd turn he pulled his bow & arrow out & shot the princess through her heart. He did it in revenge for his brother who died for her. Not much of a happy end...

I recommend all my English reading Peaches to read the article about Lichnice here or put it into Google translation {probably better}
