Thanksgiving Thanks

First off, I have to excuse myself for letting you Peaches hang there. I did not  update you, as to how my first operation went and what happened after that. The first operation went wonderfully, although for a week after that I was in terrible pain. That particular operation was to check if my lymph nodes were clean of any cancer cells. The doctors had to do it by poking 3 holes in the pelvic area, then one right by the belly button. Air is then pumped into you, so after the operation you are looking at a new balloon you! Oh the pain!
When I (sort of) woke up from the narcosis, I was told it came out negative and although they had to have the histologist check it one more time, I let my tears of joy come rolling down my drugged-out face. I had to lay in intensive care until the next day, unable to move not only because of the morpheme but the air caused immense pain in my shoulders, making me hunch like a very old person. I was finally whisked off in a wheel chair to the other part of the hospital, where I got to lay for another day. I have never experienced such pain. If there is any Peach out there reading this and has had a laparascopic surgery, then I’m sure you remember.
One of the reasons, why I haven’t been writing, was because I was so out of it! I was in pain, groggy and did not really feel like doing anything. That’s what happens when you do too many free hospital drugs!
Friday came and I was confirmed for a Monday operation of my cervix. I was so happy when they confirmed this operation, that I was excited. I’m weird. Who is excited for an operation? (Just an FYI, the cervix is where my tumor started growing) It is nothing compared to what they wanted to do before. After the operation, it was another day of being drugged out because of the morpheme and narcosis. Already the second day I was fine enough to go shopping and establish my own little page on Facebook. It is not a grand page, but it is something I will be working on throughout time. For the time being it is in Czech, since my main focus are Czech women at the moment. If you have Facebook (which I am pretty sure you do) check out the page Statečná Naděje ~ Brave Hope. If there is anything you as a reader would like to see on the page, don’t be afraid to write!
As for me, I had the chance to celebrate this weekend, not only my victory (yes, I WON!) but my little brothers 18th birthday and Thanksgiving. Frankie, happy birthday to you! To all you Peaches, happy Thanksgiving! There is always something to thank for …

Happy Birthday Frankie!
